About PolArt.
PolArt is a Polish cultural event celebrating Polish cultural heritage in Australia and New Zealand. It is held triennially in the state capital cities around Australia.
The 12th PolArt Festival was hosted in Perth through December 2012 & January 2013.

PolArt, the Festival of Polish Visual and Performing Arts, is a major community event showcasing Polish artistic and cultural achievements and activities in Australia.

PolArt has been celebrating the Polish culture in Australia for over 35 years. Organised triennially, the Festival takes place in capital cities around Australia, drawing large crowds of people from all parts of Australia and New Zealand, as well as guests from Poland.

PolArt Festivals take place in the festive season of late December and early January and are held at prestigious venues offering a broad range of events, exhibitions, plays, shows and parties.

Every PolArt is unique in style and approach. One thing though stays unchanged; every Festival attracts hundreds of young and older artists, folkloric ensembles, choirs, musicians, actors, sculptors, poets and painters of Polish descent, enthusiastic and proud to showcase what their heritage means to them.

The next PolArt Festival is going to be hosted for the first time in the capital city of Western Australia, Perth in 2012.

PolArt 2012 is generously supported Lotterywest, The Office of Multicultural Interests, City of Perth, Perth Convention Bureau, The Western Australian Museum, The Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority, the University of Western Australia, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland – Sydney, Auspol Enterprises, The Blum Foundation, Cracovia Club Inc, Chopin Patisserie, Sikorski Club and RSM Bird Cameron.
